I have endless applications for my quilting urges, they seem to pop up everywhere

A simple panel featuring some of my hand dyed fabric.

One of numerous Christmas center pieces I have made

Ken’s version – What the hell were these, I may never know but I made about 200 of them, they are piled all over the house, perhaps my interest in quilting is a disease.

Judy’s version – Loved making these leaves from Gail Garber’s book Flying Colours. These leaves bring back happy memories of a quilting retreat at Wendy’s cottage a few years ago.

Every year my husband gives little bowls for Christmas. Empty Bowls Perth was a project of Jackie Seaton until he passed away from cancer. Some of his pottering pals carried on the tradition. Empty Bowls Perth supports local food security projects including The Table, YAK, Food for Thought Lanark school nutrition program, Lanark Highlands Food Pantry and the Guatemala Stove Project. Quilted bowl cozies were the perfect compliment to this annual tradition of gifting to our family members.
